About Me

Hi! My name is Annette Easton, and this is my sixth year teaching at Bullitt Lick Middle School, my 12th in teaching overall. Teaching children and teaching writing, social studies, and independent study are my passions, and I feel extremely blessed to have the opportunity to do all of the above! I earned a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Western Kentucky University and a Master's of Social Work from the University of Kentucky. Later in life, I went back to school to earn a Master's of Arts in Teaching from Bellarmine University. In a "former life," I lived in Oldham County, co-owned/edited/proofread a local parenting magazine, raised two wonderful children who are now successful adults residing in this area, and began my teaching "journey" as a substitute teacher. I am also enjoying another year with the academic team - this year as an assistant - after spending many years with teams in Oldham County and four years as head coach at BLMS. I am originally from Greenville, Kentucky, but now call Shepherdsville home.
